A new version arrive! The 0.13 scalated.

Aloha everyone!
It had been quite a while since I last updated anything here, but finally, after a couple of weeks of effort, I’ve managed to completely rescale the game to a resolution of 128x128—similar to what Pico-8 uses, but I’m still working with TIC-80. Without a doubt, it was more labor-intensive than I thought, but it’s done! Now the game is much larger and feels much better in terms of proportions.
Something that has come up is that, since the game is complete in terms of mechanics, I’m gradually adding improvements and new elements to give it more life and a better look & feel. I’m currently working on a mini roadmap to add more features to the game and also include the entire audio side, since ever since I started this project as an entry for the LowRez jam, I never touched that pillar and I knew absolutely nothing about music in TIC-80.
What else could you expect from this game? Well, for the moment, I’ve noted the following points in the roadmap:
-> Improve text sizes, since some don’t need to be scaled x2.
-> Add SFXs for attacks, blocks, POW ready, POW activated, hurts, etc.
-> Add BGM to give the game better immersion.
-> Fix the control scheme, which is currently terrible for any player since I’m still using a debugging keybinding.
-> Add VFXs to reinforce attacks, blocks, POW, and bring life and shine to the RPS mechanics.
-> Add more characters. I had a few important ones left out because I used up an entire memory bank, but I’m learning how to swap banks so I can include more characters. Suggestions or recommendations for characters you’d like to see are welcome (wink wink).
Those are the wishes and goals for polishing the game further. For now, I’ll leave you with the changelog for version 0.13—I hope you enjoy it, or at least use the game to settle a resolution Janken-Po! style!
